Please read this page carefully before reserving or purchasing a dcab robot. It explains, in plain language, what you are buying, what you are not buying, and the risks involved.
What you are buying
When you purchase a robot through dcab, you are buying a physical asset: a certified delivery robot that you own. dcab technologies LLC acts as the operator of record — your robot works under dcab's operating permits and licenses, and dcab handles operations, charging, maintenance, insurance and customer support. You receive a share of the revenue from deliveries your robot completes, paid monthly.
What you are not buying
- You are not buying a security, a share in dcab, a bond, a fund unit, or any other regulated investment product.
- You are not being offered a fixed return, a guaranteed yield, or any form of assured income.
- Purchasing a robot does not give you ownership of, or any interest in, dcab technologies LLC or its business.
Earnings are variable and not guaranteed
Your earnings depend entirely on the deliveries your robot completes. Delivery volume varies by zone, season, demand, robot uptime and other factors outside your control and, in part, outside dcab's control. All figures shown on this website — including the earnings calculator — are estimates and illustrations only. They are not projections, promises or guarantees of income, and past or modeled performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. It is possible for a robot to earn substantially less than illustrated, including nothing in a given period.
Key risks
- Demand risk: delivery volume in your robot's zone may be lower than expected or may decline.
- Regulatory risk: the program depends on operating permits held by dcab. Permits may be delayed, restricted, or withdrawn in any market, and program terms are subject to regulatory approval in each operating market.
- Operational risk: robots can break down, be damaged, or be taken out of service. Repairs are covered under your plan, but downtime reduces earnings.
- Technology risk: autonomous delivery is a developing technology and operating conditions, routes and service areas may change.
- Counterparty risk: payouts depend on dcab continuing to operate the network. If dcab ceased operations, your robot would remain your property but might not generate delivery income.
- Resale risk: robots can be resold, but there is no guaranteed resale market or resale price, and transfers are subject to re-certification.
No advice
Nothing on this website constitutes financial, investment, legal or tax advice. dcab does not assess whether purchasing a robot is suitable for your personal circumstances. Before purchasing, consider your own financial position and, if needed, consult an independent licensed adviser.
Marketing material
This website is marketing material. It is not a prospectus, an offering document, or an offer or solicitation to buy securities in any jurisdiction. The program is offered only in markets where dcab holds the required approvals, and availability may differ by market.
Licensing and permits
dcab holds the operating permits under which robots in the network work. Robot owners do not need — and do not receive — their own operating license. If you purchase a robot, it operates exclusively within the dcab network under dcab's licenses and mandatory maintenance standard.
About the company
